Wake Up To You

June 14th, 2007

The first thoughts you think each day must be your own.  Before doing, thinking, or feeling anything about anyone else, take a moment to speak and feel your life vision.  What is the why that drives you?  What excites you whenever you do it or think of doing it?

In the moments upon awakening you can more easily tap into the deeper parts of yourself, because in those moments, you are not yet prey to all of the things that distract you and demand your attention.  In these moments of stillness, you can plant a seed of belief and inspiration that you can nourish throughout your day.

It is not enough to reason, survive, or organize your way through life, because what you get done is not nearly as important as who you become during the process.  Living within a  routine system of action that does not nourish and grow your spirit, is to embrace death without the formality of a funeral.  You need to commit to a process of growth and transformation today, because the time has come to stop making a living, and spend more time making a life.

You have been born with gifts that can enrich not only your life, but also the lives of others.  We are all connected at all times, and it is only in embracing and supporting this connection that a spiritual synergy is accomplished. Each person you help transforms the nature of our existence. Profound change is the product of profound connection. If you do not master your gifts, then they are lost not only to you, but also to all they could have benefitted. You need to have a life vision that is uniquely yours, but the vision that will serve you best will also have strong compenents of service and support of your fellow man.

Life is a gift we are loaned in piecemeal fashion, in that it is granted one second at a time without any guarantees of longevity.  However, we can contribute to the meaning and the quality of that existence, by becoming the person we see in our dreams.  Live a radiant life of joy. Laugh loud, cry hard, dance wildly, and enjoy life.  Life is not something you watch on tv.  It is something you go out and get your hands dirty with.  Get involved.  See. Feel. Do.  Help others and learn how that experience helps you just as much as the people you serve.  Get to know what excites you, and then keep doing those things to see what they make of you.  The more you discover and support the deepest parts of yourself, the more likely you will lead a life worth remembering.

It is not enough to just exist; you must live!
