Dare to Change Challenge 11/15/07

November 15th, 2007

Last night I was listening to the Won’t Be Denied Wednesday Motivational Tele-Series call and the teacher C.F. Jackson said, “Time is neutral; it can be used constructively or destructively”.

Wow!!

Really let that sink in.

“Time is neutral; it can be used constructively or destructively”.

It seems obvious when you think about it, but I find that most people (including myself) are blind to the obvious because we often function more out of habit than thoughtfulness.

So that being said, the challenge is this, as you plan or go through your day, before you begin every activity, take a moment to pause and ask yourself the following:

Is the activity constructive or destructive?

You need to start living your life investing your time in constructive action, rather than spending it on constructive action. Where an investment results in a return, spending just consumes a resource. The one resource that you have that is cannot ever be recovered or restored is your time, so please spend your time thoughtfully and constructively.
